Tobi Ishi Kai believe in the right fit, therefore we welcome you to train for FREE until the start of the following month.  

Most schools will offer one free lesson, however it's important that the training is appropriate for you and you feel comfortable with your lesson plan.  

You should not be paying extortionate fees, it should be along the lines of normal gym membership.  Our fees are payable by standing order on the first of each month, so once you have tried out our lessons, you can then set up payment for either £25 per month for one lesson a week or £30 per month for multiple lessons 

Some schools will offer cash weekly payments, however this usually works out far more expensive, with the going rate being between £6.50 and £8.50 per session.  This rate, although seems pricey, must cover venue and instructor costs regardless of whether you choose to turn up.

At Tobi Ishi Kai, we aim to keep are fees affordable, especially in the current climate, to make that possible, we need to charge monthly by standing order.  Should you choose our extremely competitive two lesson a week option of £30 per month, the average lesson fee is just £3.54 - that's not only hard to beat but excellent value for the benefit of receiving training from one of the highest qualified/ranked instructors in the UK.

keep it simple, just confortable clothing, typically t-shirt and jogging bottoms.  Once you are happy you wish to continue then you will be able to purchase a Tobi Ishi Kai Karate suit.

• You will need a suit (gi), we do ask that you have a Tobi Ishi Kai suit, so please do not buy a cheap suit off the internet - it's just not the done thing!  Our member suits vary from light weight beginners to professional heavy weight suits - prices start at £30 for children and £35 for adults.
• Karate Exams - these are held 3 - 4 times a year and start at £25.  This includes the belt and certificate

Most schools will ask you to pay for a licence (usually around £30 per annum). 

Our current policy is not to ask you to pay for a licence or an annual membership fee, a licence will be issued to you free of charge once you achieve brown belt level
